5000rds straight swap with the 7000rds...

Today I was going through the cupboards and came across my box of old tapes! Old school classics , classic indie tracks , the doors , etc etc, was buzzing so went out to car and started flicking through trying to remember my best and put a few in my door panel , sods law one of my tape buttons( reverse wind )became stuck and broke! What a bar steward , any how , still wanting a tape head as I have the changer in boot for discs, I'm looking at the 5 watt per channel more and electronic eject 7000 RDS, my question is this , will it be a straight clip in swap or will I have to change wires or Install adapter block??(please say straight swap)

Should be a straight swap Carl as some early C1's came with the 7000 as an option IIRC.

There should also be an insert under the centre armrest for holding a few cassette boxes.;)
 
Oh yeah under arm rest, forgot about that tape pit! Lol , cheers man.

Thank god I still got some of my tapes.. If only I kept them all though ( shout outs on 808 state show) had some proper classics , alas , music, along with everything else these days is so lame, even music is politically correct!
If only I could go back in time for a weekend....

Along with every other doors tune you can think of... Oh yeah had a major doors era in my life , when the stone roses went off the scene what else could you do, and well the doors and psychedelics go together like tea and milk... Enough said :)
I won't bore you with my rock star past ha ha.
 
I remember having my prized Nakamichi tape deck stolen from my Bluebird, I had audio insurance cover but they took a box of tapes as well, which was much more annoying because it was probably stuff the scumbags wouldn't have liked anyway:cautious:
