A bit of bad back therapy.

I managed to get the thermotwat replaced today. A vast improvement. The old one was closed, as it should be when i removed it (cold engine), so i'm guessing it was a weak original and was opening too soon.

I got mine done by Nick as it was taking ages to warm up and on motorways the temp guage was falling between cold and the middle - running much better with the new stat and warms up amazingly quickly now :)

Al, only just seen this thread. WOWSERS!!! very nice indeed mate. That really does look the dog's danglies. Your car is certainly one to be admired, with the time and effort and money you have put into it. That is one coug that I will always love.

Magnificent work. The way that the Lexan is fitted into the cut-out and sealed is totally professional.

I saw this when it was a concept/experiment and had no idea that it would work out so well. Those verniers are very pretty too. (y)

Right then, Alan - what are you doing with that old rocker cover? Mako needs some under-bonnet gorgeous. :D

The old one is in side storage awaiting preperation for something else i've been contemplating, but it has to wait till i get some other stuff out of the way.
