Well after 2 months (and 3.5k miles) my Cougar appears to have developed a distinct dislike of power steering fluid and pisses it all over the road at every opportunity - am getting by - by regular topping up (a litre every 4 or 5 days 
) but it needs sorting.... so took it to a local garage I use and trust. So they put it up on the ramp and can see there is a leak because there is fluid ALL over the bottom of the engine and the car but they had it up there for half an hour with the engine running and the apprentice just going from lock to lock... nothing. Not one drop on their floor. I pop the bonnet this morning and yep the reservoir is down by a third again.... its like it only losses fluid when the engine is off and the system is unpressurised - which makes no sense to me at all... or am I being thick?
