As quite a few of you guys know, I only work one day a week, a Saturday driving a Taxi for my mate Stevie. I spent the night on Friday at one of my friends houses in Edinburgh as we had been out for a couple of drinks so I had to leave around 7.00am to get back home for my 8.00am start. Driving round the Edinburgh Bypass I got a blowout in my front drivers side tyre. I managed to get the car off at the next slip road and proceeded to get to work fitting the spare. As luck would have it, my type of luck anyway, the bloody spare wheel would not fit. Damn, I have done the big brake upgrade and now the spare does not fit over the Mondy Mk 3 caliper. I managed to persuade Stevie to drive over from Dunfermline to Edinburgh to pick me up and take me to ThickFit to get a new tyre fitted, So anyone who has done the same front brake upgrade, the Focus 300mm disc and Mk 3 Mondy caliper, be warned, if you get a puncture, that worse than useless spare in the back of your car will not fit.
