Got some U-Shaped Chrome trim so I thought I would give the rear of the car a bit of bling.

I got some stuff coming for around the side windows as well. So I will be giving that a go this weekend with fitting the Carbon Bonnet with any luck.

I like your car peter. But i dont like that boot trim. It looks like someone had a spare piece of chrome trim and couldnt decide where to put it. Very afterthought. Just my 2p

That is a fair comment as it is true, it was left over from the roof trim. I will see if it grows on me this week, if not them off it comes lol !!!

I agree with the others, that bottom strip is lost, get rid of it Peter. I love to see the chrome, but mostly on dark cars, Rob's white probably being an exception, so as i always say, just know when to stop.

Yeah I agree. I am going to do the side though because of the strips suffer badly from spotting and I had always planned to do this after seeing Tim;s car at Bath. I think that will look ok as my roof, front and rear upper pillars are black.

I think the problem is how it hits the eye, it falls short of the ends of the boot and would need to have the ends angled to complete the upward lines if it was long enough.
Having said that i would still give it a week to see how you feel after getting used to it, as first impressions aren't always right.
Just my 2p I guess lol

I have been looking at it now for over an hour and I have decided I do not like it on the boot. It is coming off in the morning.
Cheers Maurice.

As long as you like it Peter, that's what's important.

Yeah I do. I just wanted to tie in some of the shiny stuff I have got on the outside of the car ( Isotta Wipers, Aerial, Exhaust Tips and the side chrome strip that is going onto the car very soon )
You know me, I am always looking for the next thing to do to the car. With any luck got some interesting things going on in the next few weeks.
