Well, she passed without any advisories, struggled a bit on emissions on idle but I don't do many miles so she probbably just needs a good blast.

I'm not one of those people who waits for the MOT to find any problems. I have replaced the drivers seat belt which was frayed. Front wishbones. All droplinks, all the tyres and the gearbox mount this year so not the cheapest of years.

Nice one Jez. I agree, the secret is to keep it maintained through the year, and hopefully the test won't show anything major.

congrats on the mot pass; just one point on emmisions; whenever i have a car tested i always ask the tester to leave the car running till the cooling fans cut in and hey presto car always passes lol
