I am happy now once again but it was a shame it was not perfect for the meet.

Good to see it sorted Peter, and tbh, i don't think the damage detracted in any way from the outstanding work you've put into your cat.(y)

Watch out! There's a MECH about. :stop:

Cheers guys, it is always not nice when these things happen. I would have accepted it better if I had done it myself, but when someone else does it then it is hard to take.

Looking good Pete, although from a distance unless you were looking for it, you wouldn't have seen it. I know what you mean though, especially when you know it's there...a bit like my dent on my rear quarter panel that I have been harping on about for the last 2 years...I'll get it fixed one of these days! lol Anyway, your Coug is looking superb and it was great to actually see it in the flesh - it looks much bigger than the rest of the cougs - which I was pointing out to the guys at weekend, especially looking at mine and then looking back at yours. I think it's the bodykit, wheels and the paintwork just makes it look much bigger. Anyway, glad you have her back up to scratch and gleaming!

Cheers for that. Yes I think you are right about it looking bigger next to all the other great Cats on the day. I think it is the paint job playing tricks with the eyes. Also I did not see the dent on your car, so it just goes to show if something is not pointed out you do miss these things easily but when you know it is there it bugs the hell out of you until you get it sorted. BTW your car was looking great on the day.

Glad to see you've got your Cat restored to its former glory Peter.

Yes I am very pleased with it again, I will take more care when I pass it onto a garage in future for sure, I will be pointing out that it is perfect when I leave it and I expect it to be the same when I get it back.

I am with you all the way on that, my front bumper needs respraying due to somebody who can't drive. They attempted to park their car inbetween mine and another and scuffed my bumper, I only wish I knew who had done it as the coward decided to clear off without saying a word. A visitor to next door but one put a very small scratch on the rear bumper back in 2005, it was march 9th and I'd been out for a pizza for my birthday, I knocked on his door and gave him a round of *****, he started to roll out the 'it's only a car' line but ceased when the steam came from my ears. I was livid but felt sorry for the bloke after I'd had a word. I ended up touching it in.

If your mind set is anything like mine, it'll have been eating away at you until it was fixed.

I agree 100% with you. When you put so much effort into the car and someone else comes along without any thought or care then this really gets to me. I see it everyday in car parks when people open there car doors onto other peoples cars, this really winds me up. This is why I always take 2 spaces up when out shopping, my wife goes mad at me but I always remind her of the fact it cost me a fortune to get the car looking the way it is but I always park very far away from the entrance not to **** anyone off. My wife hates the car, she thinks it is just silly lol !!!
