Best double exhaust upgrade

Its the cheapest dual exit i've seen, its only the rear boxes, but for the money i think its a good bet, as the other cat back stainless sytems are £350+ been thinking of getting one myself in a few weeks, if you get one please let me know how you get on

Errmmm, i believe their aluminised steel, but i'll need a pipe diameter reducer as the zetec is 2in at least mine is, i measured it last week, i did email them to get the internal size, but not heard back yet.

Not loud at all really; noticeably different to the OEM system in that it appears a bit more throaty but that's to be expected after removing the 'bottleneck' of the rear passenger-side silencer.

They come in three parts; the two silencers/end pipes and an odd-legged Y pipe to join them together. The joints are fluted so they just push together and use the supplied U bolts to secure. The hangers on mine had to be bent a bit to fit but they were not massively out of alignment. The crucial part is cutting the OEM pipe in the right place but I found the best way was to cut it leaving it obviously too long and then put the new one together, hang it at the back and then use a trolley jack to hold it up against the remaining OEM pipe to show you where to make the correct cut.
Thanks Andy that is great info, but bear in mind mines a zetec, so i'm going to need a reducer to fit that to my original exhaust, i have emailed them to find out the internal size i measured mine and it was 2in external, as i though have read here someplace the zetec is 2.25 inch and the V6 is 2.5 inch, but mine might have had a replacement system at some point i suppose hence why its 2in
