Apparently I've got a C2 one fitted to mine, I was just wondering what the difference was.
I'm trying to concoct a bit of a plan as to where to go with the car after getting through the MOT in a couple of months.

Matt, your car displays several 'oddities' for a V reg, albeit one registered in early 2000.
I think we're pretty sure it's had a new engine from a later car, poss X reg, it's got leather but no CD changer and the correct shaped boot carpet to go with it and a C1.5/2 handbrake lever, parcel shelf and tailgate.

I wonder how it could have escaped from the factory like that?
The lack of CD changer really puzzles me - surely you wouldn't have been able to buy the other x pack options seperately?
Or even if you could would it have been worthwhile?
Unless heated seats installed at a later date?
Unless it originally had cloth and the engine wasn't the only thing that was swapped from the later car?

Not that they're exactly accurate, but if you put the reg into insurance sites, or the 'is this car taxed' one it comes up as an 'X' pack
I do have addresses for the last two owners, might be worth a letter?

Yeah because they could tell you if your cars been altered

Mines got the chrome button on the handbrake so she must be a late C1

I'll give it a go when I have chance then. One of them had a private plate on so he may have done some other mods too. Without checking I think it was S1 BOV in case anyone recognises that.
A couple of people have said to me now that they seem to have seen my car somewhere before so maybe it has been around the club at some point.
