Looks great mate, I toyed with the idea of getting ST200 wheels many moons ago when I bought my Cat, but looked too difficult to clean so I went for 5 spokes (3 different sets  )

Lol gave them a scrub today wasn't to bad just about get in-between the spoke with out ripping my hands apart lol

Looking good Stu, she will look cool if you get to lower her that much - really nice aggresive stance - good job.

yeah gonna be quiet a big drop so gonna have to see whats the best way to go without getting hight adjustable coilovers. Maybe some mondeo springs as i heard they are a bit softer

I have a full set of PI Springs on mine, lowered 30mm. http://www.potn.co.uk/ford_c1473_1474_1475_1484.htm - they are not too hard but obviously harder than the standard OEM springs.

The only issue I have found is due to the way the car now sits, it wears the insides of the tyres on the front. I have had the wheels fully tracked and they are A1 ok, so it's been suggested I go to coilovers to stop this from happening. However, looked at the price of coilovers and thinks its cheaper just to replace the tyres every couple of years.

Yeah i only have budgets on the front as it'll eat them and i dont really drive that much lol coilovers are very good and had them a few times before just cant justify the cost.

The only way coilovers will help is if you set them to the factory ride height. When you lower the ride height you change the camber of the wheel which causes the inner tyre wear.

The only way to solve this is to get a camber/castor kit from BAT Inc. in the states.
This replaces the front suspension top mounts and makes it fully adjustable for camber/caster.
