carbon vinyl wrap 1 bit down

Couple of guys in the club have used this with mixed results.

Best tip I ever heard was to lay a thin slice of foam between the vinyl and whatever you're wrapping, which helps it get around sharp corners etc.

sounds like a good shout i did try the part beside the gear stick and the center console but took it back off, but hey its all trial and error

Have done a few bits on my scooter with the vinyl wrap, bit of heat from a hairdryer can help it over curved surfaces, still can be a pain to do though.

Patience and practice........

Love the lights how did you manage to cut the holes out ?

Thank you, I heated up the vinyl with a hairdryer, then carefully pressed the vinyl with a soft cloth and then finally cut with a stanley knife (thanks Paul..lol!!!) and then kept the hairdryer going while I folded the vinyl over each hole. The triangle I measured and then cut with a stanley knife - was trying something a bit different and to show the relector.

is there any legal issues with wrapping the lights? or is it as long as your lights and reflector are showing

As long as lights are clearly visible and you have some sort of rear reflectors you're fine.

Here are my efforts...........

I found using a heat gun worked best for me and a good set of craft knives as well. Just take your time and it will come to you easier than you think.
