Changing Cougar - Advice needed on parts to retain

I always flush my coolant system through to get rid of old stuff before putting in the new and as water is readily available at a fairly cheap cost it just makes more sense to me As many will be glad to hear I have an Oil change to do on my engine soon that again will get a flush prior to new oil
