Hi,
believe there was an all wheel drive Cougar released (about 1999?), also
released as the concept and or the 'S'. I am trying to get the specs of
suspension, particularly front and rear track and wheel dimensions, particularly
the offset. anybody help???

They never released a four wheel drive cougar anywhere in the world they made a one off concept car.

Three have been made in the UK as Si said 2 2.0 and one V6 version all done by one garage who offer very competitive prices to our subscribers.

Also if you are referring to the grey concept cougar S iirc the track is 2" wider front and rear and ran 18" wheels from memory may be 2.5" wider track.

So, was the wider track from a.wider wheels with more of an offset, or b.wider lower control arms,,or c.revised
suspension mounts?..thx

Maybe both, although I highly doubt they made suspension arms and moved mounting mounts for a concept. Far more likely they were a combination of offset and spacers tbh. It was purely design exercise it had non of the running gear it was destined to have ie; the four wheel drive or three litre engine, again something the garage that has done the all wheel drive conversion have also carried out successfully using the ST220 engine.
