Well that was fun...

Sat at 70 and all of sudden car cant figure out what gear it wants to be in and starts going up and down box with revs up and down simultaniously all over the shop...

Took it to Kwik Fit...ran diagnostics...no faults!

Im wondering if its s gearbox sensor or tps...but then Im guessing that should shiw up on diagnostic...

Rant over and thanks for listening / reading...any ideas on what this could be gratefully received. I LOVE my cat and am really concrrned its something major :(

not really sure about auto's, there are a few knowledgable guys on here with autos, may be able to shed some light, hope you manage to get it sorted,
 
the auto box suffers a lot with torque converter problems. if it is slipping in and out of overdrive constantly then it may be a problem with the converter lockup. check the fluid level and colour. if its low or the fluid is manky then that can cause a multitude of problems
