Thought I would share with you guys a couple of recent installs I have completed for those that are interested.

First is a fiat 500 abarth, brilliant little car to drive and bloody quick as well has the sports exhaust option and sounds gorgeous with less than 5000 miles on the clock it was a little daunting taking apart a brand new shiny car but all went well.

Kit list
2 x DC audio level 4 12" subs SEALED

2 x Sundown audio 1200d mono amps (1200wrms per sub)

1 x sundown audio 100.4 to run door woofers and tweeters.

Cannot remember the door speakers and tweeters I installed.

The second was for one of Jakul audios trade suppliers again another nervy install as he knows his stuff when it comes to an install and build/design.

Car is a mk3 Mondeo estate used to do 150.4db playing music! (normally a score you get playing a single tone)

Brief was simple looking install and evolved to have a couple of design features as upon first completion without the aluminium trims it looked a bit to plain and lacked and visual punch.

Kit list

Small amp in the middle
Sundown audio 1200d to run sub

Two larger amps at the side to run door speakers/3" mids on a pillars/tweeters on a pillars
Sundown audio 100.4 x 2

Sub
15" DC audio level four

Door speakers
Hybrid audio technologies L6 SE

A pillar mid range
Hybrid audio technologies L3 SE

A pillar tweeters
Hybrid audio technologies L1 Pro

This car has the most awesome sound quality I have heard the music and vocals come from directly in front of you and everything blends seamlessly with no noticeable direction of where it all comes from other than the feeling of it being 12-20" in front of your head, staging is superb.

That Fiat 500 is amazing JJ, love it!

The Mondeo, the owner a long haired chap? Think I've met him before.

Fantastic looking installs there JJ and I bet they sound even better. You guys really know your onions when it comes to ICE (y)

The mondeo came together very nicely I would love to have had a listen post install it did sound sweet. Arbath is another cracking install.

Like the Fiat install, looks very professional, the mondeo is more subtle and doubtless it's as good as you say, but it's an estate car, I know the acoustics can be great in such vehicles, but it's not something I'd drive by choice.

JJ, just been having a look at these installs. I may have to have a think about letting you have a go with my Coug next year (money permitting). I don't want anything too big, but just something that will be some better sound as well as a little more bass. I'm useless when it comes to anything electrical, so wouldn't even attempt to do anything myself....I'd end up frying all the electrics throughout the car knowing me! lol

Liking the two installs you have shown. That Fiat install looks very nice and very clean. Nice one matey.

No probs Tim, doesn't have to be huge and will always keep things as keen as possible for anyone who subscribes.
