Well I thought it would be time to let the cat out of the bag and say I am the very proud owner of it. First of all I would like to thank Dave for letting me be the proud owner of this very special item. I will say he did conduct a very fair auction in private and I believe everyone had a chance to bid on it.
It is on my car as I speak, had a few issues with ERG pipes breaking, air leaks and the idle control valve not working on it but all in it works now.
Here are some rushed pics of progress today but I will get some nice ones up soon enough.

Made by someone very talented, does the job, looks the biz and now owned by another top bloke.

Spot on matey! You will have to let me know if you can feel a performance difference, afterall this was 'my version' of a 200 inlet ;-)

Dave, I will let you know when I drive it for some time. I took it out for a quick run and did notice the pick up was smoother but time will tell. Looks like I should finally get that Remap now.

Cheers guys............ yeah she is not afraid to get her hands dirty when it comes to cars. She was a massive help as well. It is a bit messy under there right now but I will sort that out this week. I just needed to get it working 100% before I worried about what it looks like under there.
 
Glad you got the niggles sorted and certainly looking very shiny now Peter.

So pleased Dave's immaculate conception will live on in another worthy Cougar. (y)

Well was not so much niggles as a idle control valve not working, the rest of the air leaks were down to me not doing up jubilee clips enough.
Yes it will live on in my car, and when the time comes to part with it, I will once again offer it up within the club.
 
May I ask, give it full beans next time your out and see if you get a huge kick of power at 4k (not secondaries related) I have no idea if it was the map I had or the uim that gave the power, and it would be interesting to hear your thoughts.

And rest assured this will always be a one off mod, as I will never make another! ;-)

Well I did have a flat spot around that RPM, it does seem alot smoother now with it fitted. I have not really given it a blast as yet but I will do over th enext few days for sure.
I feel very privilaged to own this item and I would like to thank you for the chance to own it. I know I offered more money than anyone else but you could have quite easily sold it on ebay for alot more easy.

I was in two minds about this before, but I don't think you should either.

By the way Peter; you, your lady and your kids are an absolute joy. It was great to catch up with you in person.

Cheers Chris, means alot to me. I know they can be a handfull at times but they do behave 99% of the time, and same goes to you as well. I really enjoyed the whole weekend.
