i have been ribbed every day at work for having a cougar? i have been told id be better off owning a lexus or a an audi or even a vw gti..what a load of ......they have this at work FORD.. FIX OR REPAIR DAILY.. THEY HATE FORDS.. oh well nevermind eh
See im the opposite.... everyone at my place loves mine, one chap will make me drive if we nip out because he likes it....
Dont get me wrong there are alot of haters for Fords... but isnt there for most manufacturers, I find people just jump on the band wagon

I was going to offer them the spare ticket for Blackpool ; they wouldn't have far to go.
We should make a detour to the dealership on the way to tell them we arent happy with there advertising
Looks way too tidy to be skipped.
As for people giving you noise about old Fords, I had the same from a bunch of new car owners at work telling me to get a new car etc - they didn't like the noisy 2.8 Capri.
Normally skipped pub lunch friday, but had had a gutful of them. Gaffer had a 3 litre TT. All agreed his was the fastest car. Raped it up the sliproad. Backed down to 50 to wait for him to catch up. Did it again. Drifted a couple of bends, outbraked him and gave him a brown trouser moment.
Sat in the pub having lunch with a smug grin. All left together, I was back at the office 10 minutes before them.
Once they'd all filed in I asked the question: "Still think your modern junk is better?"
Never heard another complaint.
