I thought I'd put this in here rather than in Events, as although there are related events planned, it's also a good excuse to take your car out just for the fun of it and support a very worthy cause in the NSPCC.

Here's us on the Lizard peninsula on last year's day.

As it happens, we took our Cougar on a Drive It Day. As well as UKCougar, we have joined the Torbay Old Wheels Club. The club is based around cars up to 1992, but do take others. The only down side is there are rallies and shows where the Cougar isn’t eligible 😕
Anyway, this show was at Dawlish and the club were meeting at Teignmouth railway station and then driving there in convoy. I arrived at the station car park and another member, which I hadn’t met before, parked a couple of spaces from me. He got out of his car and pointed at the Cougar and said
Wow, now you don’t see those very often !
I was taken aback cos he had just stepped out of an immaculate ‘67 Mustang 😂 I love my Coug but said if he insisted I would do a straight swap on the spot, but unfortunately….. 🤣
We all went to Dawlish and it was a great show with apparently in excess of 120 wonderful cars
