Hi all cougar fans
Im a ex capri nutter looking to have some more motoring fun and just discovered how much capris have gone up in value
wow is all i can say , !!!!!!!!!!!! if i d have only known then how much my beloved capris were going to rocket in value ..
And ive had some rare one s..........

mk1 rs 3100 , 3000gxl , lincoln mercury capri , 1.6 gt.

mk2 3000 jps ( loved that car ) ahhh.... 3000sport , 2000 sport , 1600GL. mk2 2.9efi modded

mk3 280 TURBO , 6 x 2.8i , various 2000 / 1600 models , ohh and a boring 1.3 L with 7500miles on it ..

so too say i wish i had keep my hobby up . but as we all grow old and have kids etc , family and home must come first
but now kids have grown up a little i still have the bug !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

so as a capri is outta my price range ive found a 2001 cougar in blue V6 with 83 k on clock to play with, for £500
and the guy threw 8 mths tax in for £85 .. bargin ... totally standard .

so im hoping for a bit of fun and many miles of V6 action again :p

Have a browse around the open forums and get a feel for the place. Remember! ukcougar.com is the only workshop manual for the big cat.
X Capri man myself but none of the top end ones, sadly never got around to it.
 
hi i had a modena green rs3100 , loved it but i got a stupid offer from a rich german so i sold it , where u a member of a capri club ?
i was chairman of the humberside and lincs capri club way back in 1989.>1993.. and was quite well known due to many t.v. radio spots on the capri legend , i used to be based in donnington on bain , we had a spares club called capri gear .
 
Hello and welcome aboard Paul. Never had a Capri although always wanted one right from being young in the 70's after seeing "The Professionals" on tv ans watching Bodie and Doyle flying around London in them.

I'm an ex capri owner aswell, nothing fancy just a blue 1.6 but it did have a black 2.8i wing on the drivers side !! lol
 
Hi Paul welcome to the site. They are a nice helpful bunch.
I'm also a Capri fan still got my 280 brooklands. I was the Chairman of the Torbay Capri Club.
