Exhaust options

As much as I would love to have a custom made twin exit exhaust system made I just couldn't afford £400+ ! so has anyone done an alternative set up that looks and sounds good ? ie . maybe a backbox or even an exhaust trim .

Later on i converted again to twin exit:

For the V6 you won't need the reducer.

I chopped the oem pipe and put these in. Some welding and standard exhaust clamps, and two back box's from ebay which iirc i passed on to jj when i finally got my full SS catback system made.

Would the ST220 rear boxes/pipes fit on the cat some how? Seen a few (complete systems) going cheap on ebay of late.

IIRC someone did convert a ST200 system to fit a Cat by swapping the rear boxes from one side to the other so the exit pipes ended up closer together to fit the narrower cut out in the rear bumper.
