Hi Guys. I do 30 miles a day round trip motorway driving. Sometimes in the dark! And i just wondered if there were any way of putting some sort of extra dipped light source on my cougar! So i can be seen better? many thanks!:)

I have got LED running lights in the fog lights if that is the sort of thing you are after. I have them wired into my sidelights. You can see how effective they are in my sig at the bottom of this reply.

You might want to pick up a spare set of fog lights so you got something to play with and mess around with just incase it all goes wrong, and that way you will not have to drive the car around without them in.

Fit a set of these

I did on Sunday and I'm amazed at the difference, and for £21.99!!!!

This ^^^

Fitted mine today ( thanks for the link Steve) and the difference is like night and day. DRLs will make no difference to night driving and fogs shouldn't be on anyway unless it's foggy enough to reduce visibility enough. These work a trick, are really simple to fit (even I managed it!) and are a steal at that price (y)

Good to hear you got it sorted John.

Regarding fogs they're pretty useless too which is why I didn't think twice when I converted mine to indicators!

seen audis on the motorway with two sets of leds strip lights.lit up like a christmas tree! But you can really seem them coming!

Well if this is what you are after then I agree, the LED's sure do make you stand out to on coming traffic. I have also done the HID upgrade as well. I also find that the LED's do light up a fair bit low down on the road as well but do not really throw any light out that you would notice as a driver of the car.
