Hi all,

Im thinking of going to look at this cougar :)
before i do... is this car known to the club? known to have any problems?

Hoping the matrix has been done and the rear subframe is okay :) anything else to check ? Its been a while since i drove a big cat! :)

If it's the one one Auto Trader with the 'NOO' plate then it's been on there for a while and both outer rear sills are beginning to look angry

That interior shot that shows the dash and wheel etc, engine is on tickover. That red light on the instrument panel is lit up and handbrake isnt on. Is that an eml light?

Edit - is that an Al sticker on the back?

Could be. Who knows...

Maybe just a coincidence, or the lever might not be at full rest. :giggle:

"biffa" that name rings a bell. oh and welcome back to cougar ownership, even if it is an ugly

Yeah possibly, well hopefully we will be off for a nose then having had the responses here :). Thanks fella, biffa. I had a c1 frosty that had the matrix job done and hvac etc changed and c1 leather fitted by swapping over plugs and pins etc and wrote up how i did it a while ago. who said the cougar was ugly?...

Should the fact its a manual with cc put me off? The manual didnt come with it as standard so has been an aftermarket fit..

not at all. A lot have retro fitted the cc, myself included, twice (y). Also don't be offended by the "ugly" comment. This has turned into an in forum joke regarding the C2. :)
