Fuel tank

Does anybody know if the mondeo mk2 fuel tank is the same as the cougar like the st200. ?

Thanks Steve but its shows different part numbers as you would expect I just wondered if anybody had fitted one I would think they would be the same but we all know ford.

Looking at the diagrams they appear to be completely different with the top of the Cougar one moulded to accommodate the bucket seats.

Yeah I get what you are saying about the part numbers, the diagrams are usually accurate though and give a good indication.

The Mondeo tanks are a different shape to the Cougar one's

I have a set of tank straps from a Mondeo & they are not the same as the Cougar ones

Thanks I thought that maybe the case its just there was one on ebay cheap I thought I would get as a spare just in case but its a mondeo one so that answers my question.
