Guy turns a Neoplan double-decker into a motorhome

Even if caravanning and the mobile life isn't your thing, I think this is worth 12 minutes of your time. The thought, creativity and skill that went into it are a joy to behold.

If I was brave enough (and if my life had taken a different turn) I could see myself living in this in the western USA, minus the bunk beds of course!

Fantastic. Neoplans are great, sadly not currently marketed in the UK. Last one I drove had a 450hp twin turbo Merc V8, went like a scalded cat. Well, for a coach.

I was looking at this going, "225BHP? And he's installed tiling in the bathroom?!" but of course it's a Diesel V6 truck motor designed to haul 90 people and their luggage (and poo) and probably has enough torque to spin down the planet Mercury.

I think I would go 2 bedrooms and lounges here. Integrated vacuum would be useful for crossing the Mojave, though I'd also make people take their shoes off Japanese-style.
