Yes, my car is 20 yrs old today, and still going strong.
i purchased it four years ago, and use it every day as my daily driver, in this time
i have travelled 30k miles and it has never let me down.

They are becoming a rare sight on our roads now, and its been a long while since i saw another.
For me its the perfect car, lots of room in the boot to carry everything, easy to service and look after,
and enough power for comfortable motorway driving. its a pretty car to look at, and you wont find another on the carpark!
mine is the 2 litre engine, manual box, and seems to average around 30+ for mixed driving.
what do you get a cougar for its birthday? well I'm gonna treat it to a service then a wash!

Even the few that I used to see in MK have all disappeared, (including the one that was apparently owned by someone who worked at B&Q). Definitely a rare beast now, (though it's fair to say that they always were, really).

As for birthday presents, what's your budget? Maybe some snazzy flat-blade wipers? An LED headlight upgrade? Dashcam?

Happy birthday, great cars and so glad ive managed to get another one and bonus as mine is 20 as well its on classic insurance so not costing much.
According to how many left theres only 800 left on the road and 1400 on sorn so definitely an endangered species.
I cant remember seeing one now for a while.
