Hi all just bought my first cougar and hope very much to have a good few happy years with it.i am 47 years of age married for twenty five of them to shirley,my occupation is a gravedigger have been doing that for seventeen years now way up here in angus,scotland .Looking forward to asking a good few questions on the cougar its a 2.5 v6 manual on a V plate,so far have not discovered anything bad a few wee dents on the body work have a small workshop but am having great difficulty swivelling the mirrors round to get the car inside to do underneath check it says in the hand book that they do swivel but using some presure it feels like they are going to break maybe a dose of wd40 might be in order anyway,,,,,,, hello to everyone

Have a browse around the open forums and get a feel for the place. Remember! ukcougar.com is the only workshop manual for the big cat.
The mirrors don't "swivvel" as in folding back towards the window. They are spring loaded against impact so will fold with force, but this will always weaken the spring and you end up with rattly mirrors.

Hiya Bricko, relatively new meself having joined in June although I had my Cougar 2 years now. Loads of info here and a great friendly bunch of people! Welcome to the group.:)
