Hi folks,

since selling my last cougar for an rx8 I have not really been round the forum too much. I know its probably cheeky of me to do this but I would prefer a club member get this before being sold to joe public;

its a two-way lcd vehicle security system with remote start(for those cold cold days - coming soon) its a carvox king-eagle. Its brand new and never fitted to my ex-v6 beast. I would like to offer it up for £30+p&p.:LOL: I told it was cheeky lol

as a gesture of goodness to stop my cheeky little post been being removed I also have a fresh pack of clips used to hold the secondary shutter arm in place(as we know how evil these can be) - which can go for free. I bought them off dealership for £15. All I ask for it delivery to be covered to whoever needs them.

anyway, hoping all it well and pm with any questions :LOL::LOL:

that's the clips gone now guys, As far as remember you only need two clips, it turns out I have four so there is another set going for the price of p&p.

When out in the garage I also found some spare new upgraded transistors for use in the imrc if anyone wants those for p&p

I know, so that's the other set and a transistor gone now too.

The pack of transistors had five in it now down to four - if anyone wants they for free.

If I find any other odds and ends I will post them up :)

Can I purchase one of these from you at Blackpool Iain?

Well - I dunno Rik.........................they were REALLY expensive mate. If you can break the bank and rustle up ....mmm........ 50p - it's yours :LOL:
:LOL::LOL::LOL:

Remind me nearer the time or I'm bound to forget.

It`s a deal mate, I`ll sell something to raise the cash :eek:

Next task will be persuading Alan to bring his soldering iron to Blackpool (or anybody else for that matter !

Hey Liam, good to see you are still out and about. Hows that Ricer of yours? you missing the coug???? lol

Its going the very best. Just had it ported and a full stainless steel system put on it, manifold included. It revs to quick compared to the lazy v6 coug. Then again it would with 235bhp standard, planning on a remap shortly after getting a kn filter in the car.

Im limited at the minute to 5krpm for 750-1000miles until she broke in with the porting and such. Averaging 220 miles to a tank! But when you have a car with that power that revs to 10krpm you are never going to get good mpg - and I dont really care about it as its only a toy for when the roads are dry.

The 50:50 balance is impressive, it so easy to go into a corner a good 10/20mph quicked than a usual car without even having to push it. Day to day. But when you do you will be let go before it does.

As far the stories about reliabliity as long as coils are changed every 30k and plugs changed every 8k and oil every 3k you will not have any issues.

I just love the full leather interior complete with electric seats heated seats and digital taco its a nice place to be. The drive is very different to the cougar. To drive it properly you have to use a gear below what you normally would. 0-60 omes up in 6secs. Top end of 2nd gear has you doing 64mph and 3rd has you doing 90mph+ so the manual says ;-)

So do I miss the cougar..in a word no. But its like everything else gone but not forgotten. :)
