My car is not going to pass it's MOT without wishbones and it is very cosmetically challenged and has some rust showing where the bodywork is scraped on the rear panal. So I'm thinking of weighing it in or breaking it, how much would I roughly get for it at the moment ?

Thanks

Sam, 'the sum of the parts would probably be greater than the whole' if you had time/facilities/inclination to break it rather than weigh it in whole.

You will get more if you break it up. Things like Leather seats and door cards will fetch £100 on their own if in good condition. I would break it if you got the space then scrap what you have got left.

That figure was for a bear car, fully stripped.

For cat2 I got about £1900 from breaking it...but that was a c2.

You can get at least 500-600 from breaking any cougar.

As an example...

Shell...130
Leather....100
Wheels....80
Wing mirrors....30
Rear subframe....40
Each leg and hub.....40
Each caliper....15
Ecu and key....50
