Before I go pulling the old girl apart... Does anyone know what the size of the front hub nut is? I'd take a punt with a 36mm but maybe it's 32 or 34, just want to know before I sneak it out of work.

Also, any tips for removing the nut? I'm trying not to be so gung ho these days, I may go as far to say I won't be using my 1" drive rattle gun

damn the economy.....

a long breaker bar will do it... It should be very tight, get someone to press the brake pedal or loosen it with the wheel on and on the floor if you can remove your wheel centre cap. Don't try and loosen against the gears.
When you refit it should be torqued to 100nm while in the air then 280 nm with the wheel on the ground.
