I will be for a few weeks on a 4 day week at Lola. So plans for work, rip the wide arch kit of the car and see what damage the previous owner has done to the rear arches, front arches and both bumpers :(

I feel the amount of P38 will be a skip load, so will need to find either a skip to hire or a large wheelie bin to hand.

Body kit ordered but will not be with me until the end of March :(

So have come up with another plan :) spend a summer doing the Zetec S engined Cougar and BUY ANOTHER ONE :)

So im on the look for a cougar 1 or 2 V6 for the grand sum of between £600-£700, so if you know or have such a car please let me know and see what we can do. I have just spent out £4500 on my sisters funeral, so purchase of the car wont be until late feb, so If you have a car for sale, is it possible to hold or maybe if your thinking of selling please can I have first dibs?

Cheers

Glad to see there's progress mate but sad to read about your sister. I'm sure there'll be quite a few cheap cars about when you're ready. I'm liking the sound of your plans, when you say Zetec S engine, do you mean the Mondeo Mk2 Zetec S lump or you got something else in mind?

Yes mate its got the Mondeo S motor fitted, found out by speaking to the original owner who replaced it before selling it to a numpty who thought sticking wide arches would look good lol

I'll be selling my silver C1 in the next week or so - want in the region of £400 for it - MOT until 1st June

PM for any more info

There's no actual difference in the engines. The "S" was added to the car's trim level as it was a Zetec with an ST24 bodykit, that's it. The engine received abadge to match the trim, that's it. It's a boggo 2.0 Zetec lump, black top IIRC.

You don't half know how to take the wind out of a blokes sails, you're just bitter because Phils car has been sold.:LOL::LOL:
