The third time this has happened in the last month. They assume that everyone will get out of their way. He didn't even look! You can hear me indicate well before the junction.

I don't want to get into the cultural aspects of this, but I will absolutely report every one of these people who are driving on our roads dangerously (and possibly without a British license). I don't want these folk on the roads, and nor should you.

I was definitely an ass for tailing him, but he needed the lesson and I was there to teach it.

There's a roundabout pullout epidemic where people think if you 'can make it' then you should go and that's absolutely not how I was taught to drive - if the car to your right has crossed their line you give way, even if flooring it would get you clear, it's not the done thing. I sit at roundabouts giving way and 1, 2, 3 cars just plough onto the roundabout from the lane next to me and I'm like what is going on, I look like a dithering grandpa but it's just the right way to drive in the UK!?

The YouTube driving instructors and particularly the YouTube insurance assessors, go even further with the 'approaching from the right' - even if you've been waiting to emerge and there's a vehicle some way back from their yield/emerge line, you're at fault if you don't rescind priority to them. Yet surely they're supposed to be prepared to stop at their line incase they need to do the same?

I usually don't either, Mabo. I'm happy to let people get to the scene of their (eventual) crash even if it inconveniences me. After all, It's been a few years since I had to deal with excess hormones, and I'm never in a rush to get anywhere.

But this jackwagon just caught me on the hop and endangered me directly, so I figured I'd make a Big Hairy Deal out of it for him.

I honestly hope he was scared (which his abrupt decision to go right at that roundabout and hide out suggests he was).

What an idiot

Sally sounds great though 😊

Wish I could've taken you out in her at Badminton, but I was a few drinks in by then.

As discussed, that's a light ST200 conversion with a PiperX panel filter. It's absolutely the best set up for me, and I've done it three times now. Sally is the only one with a standard exhaust though, so all of that noise is coming from the upper side of the engine.

I really like it because normally she just sounds like a standard car, right up until you get foot-heavy. Then she absolutely roars.
