Not something that you see every day, again not the car I'd go for but practicality sometimes outweighs desire, like the tints though, not too dark.

Doesn't do anything for me, but it looks very practical. I imagine it's much better on fuel than a Cougar and it's Japanese so will probably be ultra reliable.

I don't mind this, but if i was going Mitsubishi, and a big car or estate i'd definiately have to go with a Galant. Interesting and unique choice :)

Screaming out to be de badged dude and a small roof level spoiler similar to early mondeo estates (y)

I've had a few estates over the years, last one being the mondeo. My overall preference though is sleek lower styling, i just don't like the "bullnose" the manufacturers seem to be putting on all cars nowadays. Maybe i'm just old . Thanks for showing us a standard setup Darren.

BTW, you sent me a blank pm yesterday

Yeh, you've done ok there Darren, although like some of the others, it's not really my cuppa. Each to their own though.

That's mostly because of NCAP (or equivalent) ratings and trying to protect pedestrians from hitting any substantial metalwork in the event of a collision. The Cougar is a thing of the past now with the 4" air gap they insist on between bonnet and top of engine nowadays, unless you want to get into explosive charges to pop the bonnet up a few inches on impact like the XK and probably some other high-end coupes have. Wouldn't fancy repairing one of those from my own pocket after some numpty steps out onto the road without looking!

I don't know ALan did you know the sultan of Brunei apparently comissioned Ferrari to build several Estate versions of the 456.....and only a few were delivered so a couple still exist out there...
