I am tempted to buy some wheels from the US on top of shipping cost what else am i likely to be charged, does it work on weight or price or what ?
If it's from the states you will more than likely be hit with a import duty bill on top of the shipping price when they arrive..

If you click on the link you can put in different countries and change the items,i believe it can be different rates of tax depending on what you buy and where you buy it from.So would the same calculations and the 25 - 30 % estimate be for anything imported or just car parts ? And would it make a difference from what country you were importing from ?
What really annoys me is that you have to pay tax and vat on the shipping ,rip off britain strikes again
