imrc unit

hi there i just brought my self a v6 cougar and the first thing i notice is when hot is well under powered i been told to replace the transistor on the pcb in the imrc unit any ideas on where i can buy a transistor from in the uk thanks

oh rite brill i was looking where to place it once i put new transistor in hopefully this will work thanks

You will have extend the plug to it but the cable is long enough.

ok great yer i kinda guessed the plug would be to short so im guessing cut the wires and extend using connectors

I moved mine to under the battery tray without the need to extend anything at all.

yer thanks im gonna do it tomorrow i just replaced the transistor but its still playing up

If you have replaced the transistor and it is still not working then I would just take up the offer of a replacement unit and relocated it. Job done without any hassles.

Anyway, back on topic, I would recommend changing the IMRC for £15, problem solved..
