I was planning on painting the spoiler frosty, but Im quite liking the shadow chrome alloys with the black spoiler and smoked side repeaters.

Next up, debadge the rear (inc ford badge) And some how tint the rear lights and 3rd brake very dark, Iv tried the tint spray before but just cant seem to get a nice dark smooth finish, anyone got any other methods?

Let me know what ya think (y)

The wheels look nice chap, not 100% sure about the spoiler in black but it may grow on me with the extra mods your talking about.. As for rear brake light mask ask Pid_16v as he makes some nice ones...
all in all a tidy looking Cat you have there chap, and in a good colour... :)

Speedo surrounds just clip in from back of the plastic cover part mate quite easy job, just have to strip the dash to get to them!

Nice looking cat! love the alloys!!! (y)

Thanks guys, Add I wanted to try and stay away from the light masks and go for the high gloss tints Iv seen on a few cougars, just dont know how to get that effect! Gav Its stripping the dash is the problem! haha

Not sure about the tints for the lights though .. may be someone will come along with the answer for that mate..?

I will have a bash at that tomorrow then add :)

Thanks Rel, I'v contacted him about doing a set for me... Hes in my area too :)

Looks good, I think the wheels suit a frosty.

The spoiler looks quite good in black too, sort of matches in with the black round the windows and wing mirror etc. Not sure if I'd stick with it in black - would have to let it grow one me. Sure I've seen another on here with a black spoiler

Didn't take you long to sort it all anyway!

I tinted mine with a rattle can. light coats and many of them. Then a bit of 1200 wet and dry to get any little sags out (if you can be bothered) then a can of lacquer.
They look pretty good imo :D

Thanks again for the bits Matt :) .... Ace, when you say rattle canned, do you mean with tint spray eg savage tint?

Mate, that is looking sweet and I'm liking the OEM spoiler in black, looks different and it's all about individual taste, also compliments the alloys. As for the tinted rear lights, there's many on here that have done this and got a great finish, it's about lots of time and patience. Also, just a point that you may get pulled by plod because of no rear reflector if you spray over them and as someone has already said, you will need much brighter bulbs to cope. I must admit I do like the look of the sprayed/tinted rear lights, although I have rear masks on mine.

I think my cars gonna be abit of a marmite beast! .... I spoke to the guy about pro tinting my rear lights and 3rd brake and he puts about 2 light coats of tint spray, lots of lacquer and high temp heat treats them... £30! (dropped off and collected as hes 5mins down the road) the tint spray would cost me £12 and lacquer about £6 and would have me frustrated and pulling my hair out so i think well worth it. He said normal bulbs will be fine as he doesn't need to plaster the tint spray on because of the way he does it. The quality looks good too, Iv seen a couple of pre-done ones on ebay that dont look great and they're £90-£120 delivered without the 3rd brake light either. If anyone wants his number let me know. :)

Well the guy seems to have disappeared off the face of the earth, Iv text him and emailed him about it since with no reply. Maybe he changed his mind!

No No, Got to the stage of asking him where I should drop them off and hes gone. Might try a call in a few days or so, maybe something came up.
