Thank you for all the replies, my first cougar just had to many jobs to clutch, drive shafts etc. at the moment just putting right the things the last owner put on the car induction kit held together with tie wraps lol
I haven't found any horrors on either of mine, (other than my V6 being jacked badly and needing welding because of it) but I know what you mean.
Sometimes things happen just to get the car back on the road. Tie wraps seem to be quite common...
