So after much time and consideration i've went and go me a lovely, blue Cougar.

I was expecting the insurance to creame me as am a young guy, but i'm laughing at the deal i've got.

Drove her home today, and the first thing i remembered was someone on here saying i'll be smiling when i drive it... and they weren't half right.. i was grinning like a cheshire!

The cougars exterior is in MINT condition, the interior is in excellent condition, and the ride, is tight, solid and extreamly consistent.

everything works, bar an ABS light that farts about.. other than that, she's a dream.

It was my first time driving a v6, i've been in a 1.4, so a v6 Cougar is just... o0o0o0o0o0ooooo:eek:

I just wanted to introduce my cougar, pics shall follow, but am working tonight so i'll have to leave it for tomorrow.

WHAT A CAR!!!!

Glad your happy with the beast mate! V6 from a 1.4 is certainly a big, but good step haha.

Stick around and enjoy :)

I know what you mean bud as my car before the v6 was a little 1.2 punto (times were hard lol) welcome to cougar ownership fella(y)

Nice one - only took you four months to get round to it

Sounds like a gud'un you've got yourself there - your face will be aching before long as the cheesy grin tends to be permanent (y)

Cheers guys.

I love it... i love the growl it gives.

it's a stunner.

Anyone seen the size of the boot ?

You can fit a jacuzzi in there!

I have absolutely no idea.

I need a code for the cd player, but was wondering what up to date systems i could install ?

If it's a bog standard Ford radio then you can get the code from the serial number. Slide the unit out and look for a number starting with an M.

Then either search for the decoder application on the web or post it up here and I'm sure someone will decode it for you.

I use two kebab skewers as radio keys, anything like that will do.

You can fit any "after market" system you like, whether it be a double din unit or a single din unit. Personally I just went to Halfrauds and picked up a Kenwood cd head unit with 4 x 45 watt for just over £60. It's brilliant, gives great sound and has a jack on the front for plugging in an mp3 player. It depends what your looking for and how much sound you want and of course how big a wallet you have! lol

I've just baught a new mp4 player sony, so to get my tunes linked in would be awesome... what do you use to fill in the big gap left by the chunky unit ?
