Coming out of Grantham today, turned right at the lights after giving way to a car facing me across the juntion who was turning left, so i was then following towards the A1 Northbound roundabout.
As I closed up, i noticed the number plate "LIMITED EDITION" o_O No reg No, just the words, it had no Traders plates in the back window either. I managed to get a photo at some distance, but was really too far back for my cam, so i closed up a bit more to get a better shot, phone resting over the steering wheel ready to shoot, when i see a jam sandwich approaching on the other side, so i dropped the phone :D. So onto the A1, i overtook this yellow car and as i did so, i looked back through the rear view mirror, no plates in the front either, but the same "LIMITED EDITION" plate where the reg should be. My thoughts are, could this have been a test drive out of a showroom, and if it was, surely there should have been trade plates on show?

Why speed away and make more noise to yourself, if you just cruise people wont notice you.
Well, normally anyway, you might get noticed in a yellow corsa.
But if I were going to nick a car from a forecourt I'd go for the Porsche dealership or Bentley (actually they're right next to each other on the silverlink)

Sounds like someone was on a "Test Drive" out of the showroom/forecourt and the dealer has just chucked the trade plates in the back seat. I've seen this done before.
