Magnecor KV85 Ignition Leads

They're not 3 times the price of standard ones they're 3 times the price of pattern ones ; )

Proper Ford leads actually cost more than the magnecor leads.

Buy them, I was having all sorts of issues with mine before I got some, they're made to order though so you'll have to wait a while.

Buy new sparks at the same time too, genuine Ford.

I have some Magnecor KV85s on a car which the OE stuff is fairly naff. In the case of Cougars though, the OE Motorcraft leads are excellent and you'd need a very interesting justification to want to stray from them IMHO.

Damn it, have just bought a set... Really wasn't happy waiting for them to be built tho. Could probably have got a set of motocraft straight away.

" Ideal for LPG gas conversion engines" - Is there any truth in this? Is there anything special about them compared to others for example.

The Magnecors will offer no real-world benefit, but that's not to say they're in any way inferior to the Motorcraft leads.

Consider how many miles you've had out of your Motorcraft/FoMoCo leads and decide what you'd prefer. I'd go for the Magnecors as they appear to be if anything a bit cheaper.

I use Magnecors on the MX5 as aftermarket leads are a bit 'poo' (technical description) and the Mazda leadsets are prohibitively expensive for what they are. I can not see one single reason any decent lead would be better than any other for an LPG converted engine.

Both will 'do ya proud.'
