This is Charlie the newest member of our family,my daughter has been trying to have a baby for 8 years and finally along came Charlie.She had a few complications giving birth which resulted in her having a section, unfortunatly Charlie has now been diagnosed with strep B and has had to be moved into intensive care. As you can imagine it is a hard time for us especially as they are in yorkshire and we are commuting from manchester, but fingers crossed the hospital caught it early and with the families love he will pull through ok

Congrats matey, it amazes me just how strong new borns are, they are strong little buggers when it matters! (My sisters lad was in intesive care for quite a while after birth with a very rare condition)

Congratulations to you and your family. You are the type to have a positive attitude Mike, so i can't imagine your lovely family being any different and that will go a long way to helping you all through a tricky time - which ultimately we make you all stronger in the fullness of time. I hope she recovers and you can get her home as soon as possible.
 
Congratulations Mike on the latest addition. Charlie and the family are in our thoughts and we wish all of you the best in the coming times. Hopefully he'll be out of the woods quickly and heading home.
 
Well today Charlie finished his treatment and passed his MOT with flying colours and was then allowed home.
Must admit there was a huge sigh of relief and a few tears passed :)
