i was worried a bit after chris plugged in his code thingy and it said too rich on bank 1....but maybe that was because i was flooring it on the a14 cause i was late to spacychicks..

still gotta sort out that backfire whenever i change gear though

That backfire is - I think - detonation of fuel-rich air on the valve seats. If she's running rich, that will probably be the case, especially after you've been running her hard.

As we discussed, the lambda is the likely culprit since it's only happening on that bank. If it was a clogged air filter or dodgy MAF, you should see it on both. Since that's the easiest fix with your open headers, that's where I would start.

And you definitely need to sort it, because it'll be causing damage to itself.

yea im waiting for the cat converter core to fly out the exhaust ,and id imagine that extra fuels washing all the oil out me bores.
already got some new lambda's now just need some good weather to fit them

funny thing is it only occures when i change gear if i dont allow the secondary's to open(ive got a dash light to tell me when they activate) so if i rev it and the secondarys open it dont happen..weird.
