Mondeo Ashtray?

Hiya, quick question

has anyone tried to fit the front ashtray from a Mk1 Mondeo?

I think the full width design looks much better, but looking at the fag lighter on the Cougar it looks like it might stick out just a tad too far?

You need to take the complete insert from the mondeo console, but considering they share the same console, it'd be easier to swap that complete.

the problem with the mondeo mark1 ashtray was it was a pain in backside plugging things into the lighter

yup it was, just think the ciggy lighter on the Cougar looks........awful
think I might invest in a 12V blanky cappy thing and see how that looks for now

The blanking caps with the 'wings' on

I adapted a door insert to stick on mine.
