Had my cougar a couple months so far so heres what i have been up to.

Mot (pass !!! not bad for a £500 car lol )
Tax (robbing gits!!)
Fitted my kenwood Hu
Parrot ck3100
Mondeo mk3 gear knob
Ultra headlight bulbs
Led number plate bulbs (for the newage look)
Service (oil,filters and plugs)
Painted UIM
Painted calipers
Changed some bulbs in the clocks as i had no fuel gauge or half of speedo at night
2 x Puncture repairs one on each rear wheel

Thats what i have done so far
 
Nice work there Stu - she really is coming on a treat (y)

Just need to get those rocker covers painted up to match the UIM :)

So - what's the next set of mods going to be (.....like fruit pastels - once you start you can't stop :LOL:).
 
The neighbours thanks will be comming soon when i walk passed there car one night :devilish::LOL:

Yea need to paint up the rockers lol.

The list so far is:

Sort a second key (jag one hopfully) as i only have one so need to find someone to clone my transponder
Need to repair a AC pipe to get the climate working
Think i need to sort a pully out as i have a weird noise when revs increase (can only describe it as the noise the jettsons car made :LOL:)
Wheels and springs would be nice depends on funds
Some new number plates

think thats it for now
 
Also i recently done the front pads the brakes work fine but the peddle will go right to the floor so need to address that, with the ignition of the pedal will pump up fine.

And my handbrake is sticking on one side.

Also when i done my pads the drivers side front was the only one that didnt have the wiring and plug for the pad ware sensors is that normal ?

Hmmm...that is interesting. When my coug was last in the workshop a few weeks ago, my mechanic asked me if the brakes had sensors on? I said yes on the front, he had both wheels off and low and behold no wiring for sensors at all?? So, the question is, did all the cougs come out from factory with this? If they did, then someone (prior to me buying the car) has removed the wiring.
 
Correct Slientstu but remember this is build date not reg date.

Have you got 5 or 7 overhead warning lights?
If you have 5 = no sensors.

Also Zetecs don't have them.

BTW sensors (if fitted) are on both sides on the rear.
 
Yeah I have two on rear one on passenger side front.

The early build date ones have brake and light warning lights that the newer one done have isn't it?

Aha! only have 5 lights on roof console, so that explains that one! lol
