My daily commuter

Holy hell that's quite the gorgeous.

And T and I talked about this, given my hatchback history. If I didn't own a Cougar, I would own a high-end Mondy now.

And not that I have a problem with them - I love powerful saloon cars - but I prefer my Coug.

Loving the shine on that, might have to invest in some Blue Velvet myself. Can I ask what other products you use? At the moment I use Meguiar's NXT shampoo and then Meguiar's 3 stage paint correction, polish and wax (the ones in the burgundy red bottles), my car looks plenty shiny but I think yours about pips it.

Dodo Juice Sour Power and Basics of Bling neutral shampoo,
Meguiars mirror glaze 2 and 3,
Poorboys Black Hole,
Sonus clay bar,
Dodo Juice Lime Prime cleaner.

Thought it sounded familiar - I spent years of my life on that forum with a Mk2 Mongy then later a Mk3 before I somehow ended up on here with all these reprobates

Cracking job on the paint - that's how a Melina should shine :D

I'm sure I've seen that car at shows. Was it ever in a magazine?
yes I've had 4 in various mags across the years.
Just a few engine bays I've created including my MK1 ST200 Touring car.

In that order? Where does the Blue Velvet come in, last thing I presume?
no not in that order just products i use nowadays.yes blue velvet top wax last.

Oh my gosh. Is it getting warm in here?

Awesome images. Those engine bays look spotless.. What are the cylindrical filter containers? I've never seen them before. Are they expensive?

What?

Please tell me that's a road-legal Mondy wearing an expensive body kit. It can't be a track-bred race car with a license plate, surely.
It started off in life as a 1995 2.0 mk1 saloon.(pic with red uim).the decal kit is from Matt Neals Team Dynamics BTCC Team.
fully road legal when it was finished.just make out the tax disc in window.
as far as i know it was the only mk1 running 8 x 19's with 60mm coilovers, even the zorst was a stainless yank Mugan system.

Lovely cars.
I think thr mondeo has been under-appreciated for too long. A lady near me has a K-plate 1.6LX saloon its like brand new. If i ever get the chance I'd put thst one away for posterity!

I used to go to saloon car races with Alvin Powell and his ex BTCC mondy, I'll try and dig some pics out.
