Its had paint work on the passenger side as i can see where it was blown in down the door and there is filler on the body work in the seal area, Quick question you can see some damage in the next pic im gonna put up where the prev owner hit a curb in the snow last year. There is a small hole where the dent is will this cause me a problem on the MOT ????

As im gonna mot it early incase it causes me a problem as the tax is due this month too. Just wasnt sure weither that will be a issue?

but over all the car came up quiet good still got to give the inside a good scrub as well.

my list of jobs so far is:

Got puncture on rear to sort
Need a bulb in the clocks (half of speedo and fuel gauge dont light)
Think it needs the lambdas replaced as its only hitting 17.8 mpg
de-egg it
find somthing to polish the headlights up with
Fit my headunit (just waiting for a cage for it)
Leak test the AC as its empty
Find out why it has a on and off idle problem when u come to a stop
also have some Error codes to ask about as well but waiting to see if the car will survive a mot before i sign up lol....

thanks mate yeah have seen that stuff before was thinking of going at them with some g3 or autosol but think they might be a bit abrasive
and i appologise for the crappy phone pics was being lazy and couldnt be bothered to get my dslr lol

I have access to ramps I had it on the 4 poster and it's more cosmetic that structural by the looks of it everything is straight underneath and the seal under the car looks fine just the body work part has the hole.

Stu, you can also use 2000 wet & dry paper, all you need is a bowl/tub of warm water, wet the 2000 paper and then use very small circular motion. It brings the headlights up really well. I have done mine in the past and brought them up to a silky finish. Just remember to keep adding plenty of water. You can get 2000 from your local motor factors or just try any place that does bodyshop work and ask if you could buy some from them - that's what I did, cost me a couple of quid for 5 sheets. (y)

BTW, nice looking original Frosty - shame about damage to sill. I would get that sorted before winter, otherwise the salt from the roads will get in and the old tin worm will start eating away the bodywork.

Cheers mate will tackle the headlights one day soon and work out what I'm gonna do about the seal too.
