I'm gutted........ after ages of searching a RED Cougar finally comes up for sale, low mileage, one owner,
and I miss it by a whisker !!

I called the owner and it had been sold a few hours earlier, he didn't even know there is a Cougar club.

Please tell me someone in the club bought it (or don't tell me ! lol)

Hi Wil

I did see that car on Auto-trader looked nice but was missing two cylinders so left it there to be honest not totally sure on the colour.

you may have been lucky as there has been one in the south coast area that been around and popping up for ages and apparently not up to much? but may not have been the same one

I saw that, my Mum wants a red one but they're so scarce. Had it been a 2.5 x pack and not an auto we'd have grabbed it. Be nice if the new owner turns up on here though.

Ah that's a shame, I do love the red one!

But a word of caution over Auto Trader adverts, my Cougar which I've had for three months now is still listed for sale on Autotrader and I'm most definitely not selling, especially after well over a grands worth of work

chap on here back in 2010 had a red one that had 15" Alloys (woolley1971) know he sold it , thought that may have been it but it was "T" regd looking at pic

I think it is a very rare Cougar, let's hope it's gone to a good home and will be kept on the road!

From what I remember 4 where accidentally constructed rhd so they where sent to Britain and as far as I know there was one paler blue model that got through.

Great Pics of the Donny meet, thanks, and what a line up!

So, any idea where red Coug T963 VPU is now ?!

That red one is a 2.0 AUTO! I know the owner and he still has her. And Tony is right, it has drum brakes on the rear and is a RHD, American spec car.

Is this the same zetec that lived near Tim (WildV6) down Exeter somewhere. If it is, it's a real hot potatoe and i'd love to know why, but i'm sure that one was a manual box.

It's not the same car Al; this one was advertised as only having one owner.
