This is a pic of my wheels, it doesn't show in the photographs elsewhere, just wish I'd took the tyre shine to fest as they look shabby.

I know what your saying re the tyres, but it's the wheels i'm looking at and at fest, i just had to get an eyeful. What's the phrase? "a little for a lot" and it certainly counts with this project. Overall, a small modification to the car, but oh what a difference it makes. I think some of us know how much these changes were playing on your conscience Rich, but imo, you've transformed a work of art into a masterpeice. All credit to you for having the patience to think and then put your thoughts and ideas into action. I like it. (y)

Superb Rich, as I said at `fest tastefully done and suit the car perfectly, if I was allowed the choice of any car in the club I would take yours :D

Take a look at wicked coatings website, it's a film applied in water and laquered, not cheap but quite effective.

Cheers Rich, i have emailed them, but can't seem to figure out how to send more than 1 photo? i am sure they will get back to me and let me know.. any idea of the turn around time with them chap?

You know my thoughts Rich looks awesome and with the couple of extras you have planned it will all tie in fantastically. Nice to see La Cagna with a splash of colour.

Indeed Mark!! Mr Barlow knows my thoughts already. To try and put it into words, for those that have seen Manos' engine bay in the flesh and found it sexual, Rich's wheel are that x 4!! They are superb!! :)

If you email them they usually get back to you the same day, Lyle is the owner and he'll email you back with a price, my wheels were blasted back to bare alloy, then powder coated in black, the rim painted and finally coated in the carbon effect. They originally quoted a week turn around but it ended up a little over 2 weeks so if you need your car on a daily basis, you'll need a set of wheels to stick on while the work is being done. The reason for the deay was the powder coating, they source that out to another company who let them down.

Just got a reply, i have sent some pic's over to them, It may take a few weeks to sort the cash out, as you said, they are not cheap, but the finish should be worth it.. I have added most of my interior too... :)
Cheers, Rich.. (y)

Just another thought, I also had to buy some black tuner wheel nuts as the chrome/rust ones would have looked rubbish/a mess, I bought these from this ebay seller http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/130650660572?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 my total outgoings were as follows;

Wheel refurb 4 x £100, Carriage to Dorset £42.50, Tyre removal, refitting, valves and balance (at their end) £40.00, Return Carriage £30.00, wheelnuts £22.00 and an unexpected purchase of another locking wheelnut key as explained in a previous thread £30.00. I had the tyres taken off and refitted at their end because if the fitter damages them, the wheels are still in the right place for them to rectify any faults, worth it for the slight difference in carriage. I went through parcel monkey for a quote on carriage to Dorset, theyobviously arranged return carriage. Just as a favour, can you tell him that I passed on their details, it's not that I stand to gain anything, but I'd like them to know that I did what I said I would.

For those that wish to take a look www.wickedcoatings.co.uk

Total without key £534.50..............scary!.............:eek:

Just been quoted £325 for the wheels and they are just round the bay so I will take the wheels there in person. I will need to swap my wheels over to the standard ones first. Will get them to do the tyres too. Still waiting on a price for most of the interior of the cat.
Cheers for the info Rich. Will update when I know more. And will be sure to mention your name on Monday.
