mystery connector behind stereo?

Hi all, i just removed the stereo from my car and there was a loose bunch or wires with a small black push connector with a blade fuse attached. It looks factory standard but not stereo related. Any ideas anyone?

little black connector could be for a 6 cd changer in the boot.......maybe.

Cig lighter is all connected but there is a changer in boot, that must be it cheers.

If the fuse is in a white plastic socket with a groove on one side that looks as though it should slide over something then the plug is definately for the CD changer.

Yes it is thanks. I still need to know why my heater/ac panel and fan only work occasionaly? Blooming cold.

Have you checked all the plugs on the back of the HVAC unit are fully pushed in; IIRC there are 4 of them.

They appear to be seated correctly but i will check again later, could a dodgy relay be the cause?
