I personally use products from this website: http://www.i4detailing.co.uk/

Im getting a bit closer to retirement age so as i really enjoy detailing cars I thought why not try and make it a bit of a sideline, I will never be as good as Shagmonkey but I can make tatty cars look half decent. I might even sign up for a tutorial if I can find one that will fit in with my shifts

When you have a car that is as well looked after as yours then a hand polish usually is enough (y)(y)(y)
And it looks stunning as always

Thanks Mikey. I do use my DA, but need some new pads, so was easier today just to do it by hand. However, I'm now aching allover! lol!!!

I've often considered a DA, but I've read enough horror stories of how an inexperienced user can irrepairably trash a paint job in seconds that I'm a bit chicken!

You've got to be fairly daft to cause havoc with a DA..... Rotary mops on the other hand...

I had that setup; works really well. I found the Cougar paint quite soft too, so it's a cinch to bring up to scratch again.

Looks a nice piece of kit that, I'm determined to learn how to use one of these!

Stunning as always Tim - think the No Limits grille has finished it off nicely (y)

Thanks John, yes I do too. I have even made brackets that fit to the original grille mounts - where you screwed the original grille into. I just drilled a small hole either side of the No Limits grille and then just pop riveted together. So easy to remove and all looks neat and tidy. I can get the shades to fit over the top of the headlights, but thought she looked stunning without them on.
