Hi all picked my Cougar last Sunday a 2.5 V6 2001. It has previously been shown if the plates under the bonnet are anything to go by and must have been owned by a previous or current member of the site as there's one of your stickers in the rear windows.( reg. Y79NLG ) All I can say is what a motor absolutely loving it.

Used to belong to the events co-ordinator Chris until his very sad departure a couple of years ago. Welcome to Cougar ownership by the way. Y79 NLG was a stunning motor and hopefully still is and will continue to be so.

Hi and welcome to ukcougar.org, your in the right place for all things cougar related, as well as some crazy banter. You will also be able to find all the fixes you need in our subscriber sections. Have a browse around the open forums and get a feel for the place. Remember! ukcougar.org is the only workshop manual for the big cat.
One very special cat you have there.

Hi thanks for the warm welcome. The car is in a bit of a state at the moment, the front skirt is damaged looks like its been grounded heavily a few times and the side skirt drivers side has begun to come away and split but I'll get them sorted and have it looking good again.

Welcome. I think the biggest issue that car had was perhaps the cosmetics. mechanically - while owned by Chris, that car wanted for nothing. Glad it's back in 'the club.'
